Business leaders on Saturday said it was essential that financing of liquidity-starved local companies is speeded up. The call was made by Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry general secretary Marios Tsiakkis. They followed remarks by the chairman of the European Investment Bank Werner Hoyer that there was no liquidity in the Cyprus market.
