Drawings and paintings by visual artist Fatemeh Afshari are on display at A2 Art Gallery. It is her first solo exhibit. Her works deal with everyday scenes and routine subjects. She seeks to present a reflection of the surrounding world, Honaronline reported. Titled ‘Hozour’ (presence), the exhibit opened September 15 and will run through September 26. Visiting hours are 4 to 8 pm.
“All the works on display are somehow linked to one another; in a way that after their visits, audiences can grasp the general concept shared between the works,” Afshari said, adding that her focus has been on the feelings associated with the pictured spaces.
A2 Art Gallery is located at No. 7, Ardeshir Alley, Azodi Street, Karim Khan Avenue.
